John Garvey, Jr., CPA/PFS, Chief Executive Officer


As a co-founding partner of BGEMD Capital Advisors, John has been instrumental in including wealth services as integral to our affiliated firms’ mission to form true partnerships with each our clients. John joined our CPA affiliate in 1991 and has been CEO since 2007. His decades-long background in general accounting and his hands-on expertise in various facets of practice and business planning have provided an excellent base from which to develop BGEMD, as well as to assist clients with their own business and practice wealth-related planning.

 

John is a family man, an active local community member, a nationally respected financial and accounting professional, and an enthusiastic amateur photographer. He chairs the school advisory council finance committee at St. Mark Catholic School (alma mater for his three daughters) and serves on the Community Dental Care Board. He has served on the continuing education advisory board for the Texas Society of CPAs, and the advisory council for BAM Advisor Services, a nationwide group of independent investment advisors.

 

John is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration-accounting from the University of North Texas.

Bill Kaiser, CPA/PFS, CFPWealth Advisor

 

Bill joined BGEMD Capital Advisors in 2011 to champion the firm's outreach and client service activities.  He brings a depth of experience working wih both individuals and companies seeking assistance with their investments, as well as coordinating their related accounting, estate and other wealth concerns in alignment with their financial goals.

 

Bill began his career as a public accountant for Ernest & Young in 1987, specializing in investing since 1992, when he joined Fidelity Investments.  he has served as vice president at Northern Trust as well as Fisher Investments, a private client group.  Bill holds a bachelor's degree in accounting form the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

 

Bill and his wife reside in Plano with their two children.  He is an avid tennis player and actively involved in the tennis community.  He is also involved with his daughter's youth program at church, and serves as treasurer for his HOA.  His wife and daughter are active members of the National Charity League supporting charities in the Plano and North Dallas area.

Lori Eads, CPA, Investment Advisor

 

A co-founding partner of BGEMD Capital Advisors, Lori combines her tax, estate-planning and business savvy with a focus on high-touch client service, recently earning her recognition as a Five-Star Wealth Manager.Joining our CPA affiliate in 1994, Lori has more than a decade of experience in public accounting as well as specialized expertise in serving physicians, dentists and other professionals and their families.

 

Lori holds master’s degrees in business administration and accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration strategic management from the University of North Texas. She is a CPA and a member of both the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Lori serves on the Board of Directors for the Richardson Hospital Authority, DFW Healthcare Advisory Board and the Dallas CPA Society Investment Committee.

Belinda Deane

Belinda Bee Deane, CPA, Investment Advisor

 

Having joined BGEM+D in 1997, Belinda is our shareholder in tax and accounting services, and a co-founding partner and investment advisor for our affiliated firm, BGEMD Capital Advisors. With significant and broad experience in public accounting, tax and business consulting, Belinda assists small- to mid-size businesses, fast-growth companies and entrepreneurs across multiple industries, including healthcare, energy and many others.

 

Prior to joining BGEM+D, Belinda served more than four years in public and business accounting, including for an international utility company. She holds a master’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in Federal taxation and a bachelor’s degree, both from the University of North Texas. She remains actively involved in the Dallas-Fort Worth professional community, authoring business publication articles and speaking at events. Belinda sits on the board and is the secretary for 1999 McKinney Avenue Homeowners Association. She also devotes her talents to various animal rescue organizations and not for profits that benefit animal welfare including sitting on the Board of Texas Humane Alliance, "making a better place for animals through education, advocacy, and legal protection".

 

In her free time Belinda spends time with her rescue pup, Dutchess the Diva, runs Katy Trail, enters various fun athletic events, and lifts weights.
